In September 2023, we had the honor of hosting a Global AI Leadership roundtable discussion with Deloitte at the Deloitte office in Washington DC, focusing on women's leadership in AI.
This Global AI Leadership Roundtable microcosm of what the AI world should ideally reflect: diversity, inclusion, and an unwavering commitment to breaking barriers. The roundtable brought together a diverse group of remarkable leaders and pioneers from various sectors, including business, media, education, nonprofit, and community partners.
Our discussions amplified the importance of women's leadership and upskilling, especially for those from non-technical backgrounds, in the rapidly changing AI landscape.
Three key focuses emerged:
🌐 Exploring Opportunities: We deep-dived into the opportunities AI offers for women's career advancement, upskilling, and leadership, evaluating the current global trends and directions.
🌐 Tackling Challenges: Collaboratively, we faced the challenges women encounter in AI, basing our discussions in real-world scenarios and potential solutions.
🌐 Mapping Solutions: The roundtable concluded with actionable strategies to empower more women in leveraging AI in their professions and daily lives.
